Sam Sees Singapore!

Recently, work sent me (Sam) to Singapore on business.  While I was there, I was amazed by the city and got some great photos of my experience.   One of the most breathtaking moments, however, was when we went on the very large Ferris wheel and saw the city and the world famous Marina Bay hotel.   From up there you could see all of the beautiful parks, cityscape, and the Asian culture all over the city and it truly inspired me and made me fall in love with this magnificent city.  Unfortunately, work kept me inside most of the time but as soon as I was able to get out and experience more of the city and culture, I made sure I did!

Besides seeing the sites and shopping along Orchard Rd, experiencing the diverse and amazing cuisines Singapore has to offer is a MUST when you’re there.  By far and away, however, is the Chili Crab from Jumbo at Dempsey Hill.  Amazing!

Finally, one of my favorite sections of the city was definitely Chinatown.  The constantly flowing and moving market is truly an entertaining thing to watch and the immense amount of commerce and bartering taking place right alongside such magnificent Hindu and Buddhist temples was one of the most fun things I was able to experience in the short time I was there.

As you can see the colors, culture, and cuisine captured my heart and mind in the short time I was there and I can’t wait to go back in November with Payton to take in even more!
